PROVENANCE:
TR Elliott Queste Pinot Noir is a cuvée of 33 barrels of wine. We selected 21 barrels from our Hallberg Vineyard
and another 12 from our O’Connell Vineyard. Dijon clones, a long, cool growing season and the Gold Ridge
sandy loam soils are typical of both Vineyards.

COLOR:
The color is a dark brick red, with some purplish hues on the rim of the glass.

AROMATICS:
The elegance of the 777 clone, the aromatics of the 115 clone, and the concentration of the Elite and Pommard
clones are all evident. 2007 Queste opens with deep intensity, sweet black cherry, and layer upon layer of dark fruit, and finishes with leather, burnt sugar, vanilla and caramel.

PALATE:
The wine has a broad and yummy mouth feel, and is big without being overbearing. This is a great aging wine with soft chocolate tannins, texture, dark cherry and mushroom flavors with forest floor terroir. The 2007 Queste is a classic.

The aroma is intense and deep. There are immediate red currant, violet and raspberry notes, blended with fig, vanilla and pepper. Hints of nutmeg, orange peel and allspice recede to black cherry and cola.
